Active free trials prevent members from joining a family plan
If you invite a family member who is currently on an individual free trial, they will not be able to join your family plan until their trial expires or is manually cancelled.

flag Android users must use an Apple device to verify student status
Apple migrated student verification to SheerID but failed to update Android and Windows apps. Logging in via a Mac or iOS device bypasses the UNiDAYS error.
Apple Music's terms do not allow this. It is here because people report doing it, not as a recommendation.
