Can you share it?
We have not read HBO Max's terms yet, so we are not going to tell you what they say.
What people learn from using it
Reported by people who use HBO Max, not by HBO Max. Every note links to where we found it, and says how many sources we could confirm it in.
Away from home

A six-digit emailed code bypasses the travel block temporarily
When Max detects an unrecognized IP address, it prompts a block. Selecting 'I'm traveling' sends a six-digit code to the primary email to grant temporary access.
What the source says
When you click you are traveling, it will email you a six digit code to put in and then you could start watching no problem. https://www.reddit.com/r/hbo/comments/1rzoamj/hbo_max_travelling_rule…
When it goes wrong
-
Repeatedly using the 'I'm traveling' button leads to a hard lockout
Users attempting to share accounts or navigate dynamic IPs report that after approximately five uses of the travel override, the platform issues an error and locks the device.
What the source says
this time when i clicked "i'm traveling" it says "you've traveled too much" and I'm locked out. https://www.reddit.com/r/hbo/comments/1rzoamj/hbo_max_travelling_rule…

We fetched each of these pages ourselves and checked the quotation is really on it. That proves somebody said it, not that it is true — read the source and decide.
